This really magnificent pub lies on Alfred Gelder Street,
a little west of the Drypool Bridge. It thus has a foot in both
the Old Town and Drypool camps: and is an essential stopping-off point when in transit between the
two.
 The White Hart is a Mansfield pub; and the beer it serves is more
than adequate. Besides, as you gaze in wonder at the architecture and the fittings, the beer almost
seems a secondary consideration...
