You may or may not like beer and pubs; though if you've got this
far and don't, then maybe you should have your search engine trawl on "masochism". Either
way, you can hardly fail to be impressed by this building; a quite magnificent landmark close by
the point at which the City Centre meets the Old Town. Even the (much) more recent intrusion of an
arm of the Princes Quay shopping centre has not detracted from the glory of the Punch Hotel.
It would take a lot to live up to the exterior; and the interior,
though fairly attractive, falls short of doing so. In summary, a large, busy, town centre pub.
