When you consider its immediate neighbourhood, it's easy to see
how the Engineers Arms might have got its name... Inside, it turns out to be a large two roomed
estate pub with enough atmosphere to make it worth a look. The lounge is fairly well appointed,
though there is more character in the more spartan bar, complete as it is with a low stage area at
one end.
